SmartFTP loads web pages up to the web Created By: Zachary Lobsinger May 2005

2 Click on the icon Icon

3 Or click on the icon in the start menu
1. Click Start 2. Click All Programs 3. Click SmartFTP 4. Click SmartFTP

4 Screen comes up

5 Type in your server address
Here Use the main service provider. Do not include your page link names. For example:

6 Type in your username Use the username the web page service provider gives you. Here For example: ckohrman Username is first initial and first 7 letters of last name

7 Type in your edzone password and then hit enter
Use the password the web page service provider gives you. Here 2. Click the line to minimize after you enter the password and hit enter.

8 Open my computer by double clicking icon
Located on the Desktop

9 Select your directory/account
Use the account with your username. Your Directory/Account

10 Select web files/folders you have created
1. Click Edit 2. Click Select All

11 Open both your account and SmartFTP
Click on tabs to open

12 Left click on any of the blue selected files and continue to hold down

13 Move curser to SmartFTP screen and let go of mouse
Drop on This Screen

14 Your web files should now be located on the right hand side of SmartFTP

15 Close SmartFTP 1. Click Here 2. Hit Yes

16 Check internet for website
Site address will include service provider, username, and page name. For example: Service Provider Username Page Name

17 If you can access your web page on the internet, then your web files have been uploaded successfully.
