4 Negative Consequences
Disrupting class, being disrespectful, talking when I’m talking, etc. A warning Refocus Go into F206 and complete a form. Return when you are focused on learning again. Timeout (ISI)

5 Negative Consequences (cont.)
The majority of minor offenses (eating food in class without permission, cursing, etc.) will follow this pattern: Warning Fine Dining Cell phones If you have your cell phone out without my permission, I will take it and bring it to the front office later in the day.

6 Positive Consequences
Praise (written or verbal) Reward (extra credit or Live School points) Recognition at the end of a quarter/semester/year

7 The Beginning of Class Walking into the Room

8 The Beginning of Class Walk into the room holding your binder and a writing utensil in your hands. Look at the table to see if there are any papers you need to take. If there are papers, take them. If not, walk past the table. Stow your backpack away in one of the cubbies. Sit down in your desk. Quietly work on the warm-up.

9 During Class General Behavior Expectations

10 During Class Stay seated unless directed to do so (or if you have permission). Keep the noise at a level 2 during class discussions and a level 1 when I am talking to you or when you are working individually. When I call “High Five,” get quiet and stay quiet until it is time for you to work again.

11 End of Class Wrapping up the lesson and leaving the room

12 Every day (unless we run out of time) I will give you an exit ticket to complete. Please complete it quickly and quietly. When the bell rings: Grab your backpack out of the cubby. Drop off your exit ticket and any other assignments in the box with the number that represents your class period. The End of Class
