3. ?: A question was asked, so a question mark is required.
Today,: Commas separate introductory elements from the rest of the sentence.
clothes and washed: A comma is only required before a conjunction (and) when there are two complete sentences on either side.
then: Then is mainly an adverb, often used to situate actions in time. Than is a conjunction used in comparisons.
expensive, antique: Commas separate two adjectives directly beside each other.
vase, and: Commas are used to separate two sentences with a conjunction (and).
off, I dropped: Commas are used to set off introductory elements.
friend’s: An apostrophe is required as it shows possession.
bed,…sleep, and accept: Comas are used to separate items in series.
accept / write-off: Accept and write-off were both misspelled.

4. Writing like a pro! For the first hour of class, you have two jobs:
1. Finish the Writing Like a Pro handout from yesterday!
2. Finish your sentence practice from yesterday. In your Rules of the Game writing prompt, rewrite (or write) at least TWO sentences using all six sentence structure techniques from the lecture. All 12 sentences need to be highlighted and labeled with the technique type.

5. “The Most Dangerous Game”
Today, we’re going to listen to the first 30 minutes of the audio book of Richard Connell’s “The Most Dangerous Game.” The less you know about the story going in, the better!
As we read, keep an eye out for the quotes on your quote hunt handout! And yes, they are in order. 
