2 Why Sri Lanka decided to Host ACCFA 2018
Sri Lanka has taken many steps to address the prison overcrowding issue and taken many steps to upgrade the condition of prisons. Alternatives to imprisonment Urban prions relocation program Therefore overcrowding rate and the annual admissions are rapidly decreasing. Sri Lanka is in interest to share the knowledge and experience with the regional countries.

Standing Screens will be used in side the conference hall. Interesting delegations should send the design to the ACCFA organizing committee.

17 Transportation & Liaison Officers
Each country will be appointed a liaison officer during the conference. Transport will be provided by DOP from Airport to recommended Hotels. If not transport to Colombo city hotels will be considered. Transport will be provided during the conference days from the recommended hotels to Hilton Hotel only.

18 Board Meeting and HoD Meeting / ACCFA Office
Separate room has been arranged for Hilton Hotel for the Board Meeting and HoD Meetings. ACCFA Office room is closed by the main conference venue. Refreshments available

19 Opening & Closing Ceremonies
Opening Ceremony – Hilton, Colombo. Chief Guest will be Hon. Minister of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs Posting ACCFA Logo/ACCFA Song/Cultural Show followed by Dinner Closing Ceremony – Mount Lavinia Hotel or any other (to be finalized) Chief Guest will be Secretary of Ministry of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs Certificate Awarding / Logo handing over to next host /Entertaining event followed by dinner
