1 Sash Guide to eLearning
The following slides provide a step-by-step guide to help new (and existing) staff with their eLearning Completion. For any issues with your eLearning access, please contact the Learning and Development Team on Ext 6915 Mina Hazlehurst Systems & Project Facilitator

2 1. Type of access to log in to ESR
b c Reports relating to medicines-related incidents have increased from 730 to 830 in the last year. We are still at the low end of the spectrum compared to other similar Trusts. We have seen an increase in incidents relating to medicines not being prescribed on admission, along with an increase in incidents relating to insulin. We have also have an increase in paracetamol-related incidents.

3 2. Log on to the SaSHNet. Select ‘Applications’

5 To access with a Smartcard enter your PIN, (b) Click on ‘Log in via Smartcard’

6 b If you are not a Smartcard user, enter your username/password details and click on ‘Log in via Username Password’

7 4. How to check your Compliance Matrix. Click on ‘View my Compliance’

8 5. This is a full picture of your Competence record

Green - You are compliant with 3 months or more left Amber - You are compliant with less than 3 months left Red You are not Compliant. Your training may have expired or you have never had the competence Blue - You have the competence but it is not required. No Expiry - You have the competence without an end date ie. Competence is required once only No Expiry

11 8. To access your eLearning, select ‘Learner Homepage’ from your My ESR Portal

12 9. In the Search box choose (a) Learning Certification’ (b) Type ‘326’ and (c) Click ‘Go’.

16 13. Click on ‘Choose or Enroll in Class’

17 14. Click ‘Apply’ to confirm enrolment

18 15. Select the ‘Play’ button to launch the course you wish to play

19 16. (a) Ensure to complete all modules under the outline (b) Click the (Home) icon to Save and Exit your work

20 17. How to access the ‘Learning History’

21 18. Click on ‘Enrolments’ to reveal details of all your learning

22 19. Click on ‘Export Class History’

23 20. Your Training History will be exported on an Excel Spreadsheet

24 How to access your eLearning outside of the Workplace
Whilst at work…. Log on to the SASHNet. You can use your smartcard or Username/Password to access the ESR Portal (where you can see your payslips, compliance etc.) From the ESR Portal, (on the left hand side) scroll all the way to bottom, and select Manage Internet Access Your username will be displayed.

Enter your Password. (This must be 8 characters long and contain at least one number. It must not contain repeating characters) Click Submit to proceed. (This is auto-approved) Visit to access ‘My ESR Portal’ and the eLearning portlet from a home PC/tablet Enter your Username and Password and click Log in
