3 What You Need 3 T-shirts 3 Sweatshirts/Fleeces/Hoodies
3 Pairs of trousers 1 pair of shorts (knee length) 6 sets of underwear 6 pairs of socks 1 Pair of trainers 1 Pair of outdoor shoes/boots 2 Towels 1 Coat (waterproof if possible) 1 Warm hat/ sun hat 1 Pair of gloves 1 Set of nightwear 1 Bag of toiletries ( including SUNTAN LOTION AND INSECT REPELLENT BUT NO AEROSOL) 1 Black bin liner LABEL ALL ITEMS

4 The departure Arrive at school from 8:45am on Monday 21st May 2018.
Come straight into the hall with your luggage. All luggage needs to be labelled (I will issue labels a couple of days before). Bus will leave at 9:30 am ish. On the bus you can take magazines, books but I would not recommend electrical equipment…but… if you want to take it then it is your responsibility. NO CAMERAS OR PHONES OR IPADS! No food or drink are allowed on the coach

5 The Visit Upon Arrival: You will be dropped off and your luggage will be put onto a mini bus. We will then walk two and a half miles to the centre. You NEED to wear: comfortable shoes, trousers (not jeans) a t-shirt, jumper/fleece and a coat. We will have a packed lunch – provided by the centre.

6 Groups For the activities you will be split into three groups – Mountain, Crag and Ridge All activities will be completed in these groups

10 The ‘important stuff’ Unfortunately there is no mobile signal in the house, but we have constant access to the landline and will contact you immediately if there is a problem. St. James’ staff will be with the children throughout the residential. We will update you regularly with our Teachers2Parents Text Service.

11 Bedrooms Bedrooms are not decided upon until we get there; you will find out when the instructors tell you at the centre.

12 Pocket Money You can take a maximum of £5.00 with you for the tuck shop; you will not be allowed to spend any more than this. There are souvenirs; if you want these the list is in your pack. I will need your order and money by Tuesday 15th May School will be purchasing a t-shirt for each child, so can you please let us know before you leave tonight which size you would like.

14 Medication If you need any prescribed medication, you need to complete a form and hand it into Mrs Franklin before Thursday 17th May. Medication to be clearly labelled and handed to me before or on morning of travel. To avoid taking 30 bottles of Calpol; if your child normally has this if they have a headache, etc. please sign the form so that we can administer it. If the form is not signed we can not administer the medication.

15 Before you leave tonight
All medical forms need to be completed ASAP. All souvenir forms need to be completed and money paid ASAP. T-shirt sizes decided upon. Any questions or worries you have, please do not hesitate to ask.
