Real-time Manufacturing requirements at Precision
Real time Inventory information to prevent Out-of-stock or over-stock scenarios Capturing manufacturing costs more efficiently for accurate product costing Real time Available-to-Promise (ATP) Customer experience Continual stress on reduction in Lead time ( Manufacture Shipping Customer) Real time Inventory information to prevent Out-of-stock or over-stock scenarios Material planner require real time inventory status for inventory planning Shipping team require inventory status for shipment planning Sales / shipping team want to avoid a loss of business or bad user experience due to stock our scenario Capturing manufacturing costs more efficiently for accurate product costing Efficient and accurate product costing by capturing all shop floor cost elements Real time Available-to-Promise (ATP) Accurate ATP information to Sales team for order booking and commitment to clients Customer experience Accurate and reliable order commitment - basic and mandatory ask by customer Continual stress on reduction in Lead time ( Manufacture Shipping) Reduction in lead time from manufacturing to shipping would ensure on-time availability of customer orders and better user experience

Wipro’s Real Time Manufacturing using Oracle Cloud 13
Real Time Manufacturing involves designing of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to enable digital transformation and efficiency on the factory floor Manufacturing Execution System (MES) aims to provide a platform to integrate manufacturing devices with Oracle SaaS applications Real time inputs to be relayed from the manufacturing devices to MES MES collects all raw data inputs and passes on to Oracle Manufacturing based on configured business logic and rules Oracle Manufacturing receives the transactional inputs from MES and stores in its database for ERP Intelligent Manufacturing analytics to determine Machine and resource efficiency Ensure random completion of manufacturing operations which is a pre-requisite for engineer-to-order business
9
Real time manufacturing - MES data flow
Oracle Applications Manufacturing plant equipped with data capturing devices (Ex: Gravimetric, SCADA, or IoT) Records raw material feed Records finished goods and scraps Design of Manufacturing Execution System to receive Real Time Manufacturing inputs Receives raw material, finished goods and scrap inputs Real time input to manufacturing and Supply Chain applications Improves supply chain visibility and quick decision making

MES for Engineering Division: Features & Benefits
Detailed resource hours capture for each work orders “Activity Based Costing” for Work Order based on complex algorithm Incremental and random operation posting with scheduling logic Address key Engineering shop floor business requirements Bulk posting of resource and operation completion Real time work order status capture and information to downstream PaaS platform to integrate with devices like Gravimetric, SCADA, etc. Achieve Real time manufacturing
14
How MES has helped Precision!
More then 28% improvement in manufacturing transaction posting in ERP system ensuring faster inventory visibility to Planners and shipping team Improved production planning performance by attaining greater schedule accuracy Higher conversion of sales quotes and proposals into orders by providing real-time Available-To-Promise (ATP) and Capable-To-Promise (CTP) More than 22% improvement in operational efficiency Higher accuracy in inventory control and management Improved manufacturing analytics to ensure better operational and failure analysis
