Emma Wilson and Kyle Schouw, designers from RichardsDee Agency took their place on the global stage as they were awarded a gold medal for Team Ireland in the Design category. This is the first time Ireland has ever taken home gold in the Young Lions Competition in its’ 23 year history.

10 Media Young Lions Demonstrate your strategic thinking and innovative approaches to solving an important marketing challenge. Each team will be required to generate the necessary insight to develop an innovative media selection, as well as their creative uses. NOT A MEDIA PLAN! The presentation should be put together in PPT, that does not exceed 10 slides /20 pages and 25 MB. Shortlisted teams present on 20 March. 5 mins to present, 5 for Q&A. As the most prestigious international annual advertising and communications awards, over 35,500 entries from all over the world are showcased and judged at the Festival. Create an integrated digital led campaign, explaining how the use of technology answers the brief in a creative way. The objective is to show how the power of digital technology can answer the brief and provide a creative solution aligned to the technological evolution (online and/or mobile).

These components could be use on social media platforms but also any other digital led execution. An image summarising the campaign (in JPEG format) A 4 part written submission (150 words per section) 1) Campaign Summary 2) Creative insight - How can creativity help solve the problem using social media platforms and technology? 3) Solution - the platforms, technology and tools used and why. 4) How does it work? - How will the digital solution help answer the brief and solve the problem?

Can I enter multiple times in the same category? No. One entry per team. Agencies can enter multiple teams. Can I work with people outside my agency? Yes, no problem. The only caveat is that both people need to be working for IAPI member agencies, unless it’s PR. 17 FAQs I’m a student can I enter ? No. Cannes Lions rules not ours You have to working in an agency, or you can be interning. (Staff and your linked in profile needed ) If I entered last year can I try again?
