4 VOCABULARY SPOTLIGHT 5 minutes
Use the examples to determine meaning of tier two vocabulary. The culmination of four years of hard work in high school is the commencement ceremony, during which you are awarded a diploma. My eccentric uncle likes classical music and old, black and white horror films. Hint: Check your Greek/Latin roots for help. 5 Media Center Orientation 60+ minutes
Materials Needed: Bring your belongings! Highlighter & pencil/pen Instructions: Read & listen to all instructions! Media Center Orientation/Scavenger Hunt: Media Center Specialists will instruct you. Login Practice ( , NCEdCloud, turnitin.com, & WCPSS Google Apps): Follow the instructions on the next slide. Free-Read Book Selection: Follow the instructions on the assignment sheet that you were given in class. Misplaced it already? Download it from the class website (Resources>Storytelling>Free-Read Project).

6 Login Practice Login to your . If you have trouble, see a Media Center Specialist. Record your username and password on the Cheat Sheet that you received in class. *Send me an message containing your Free-Read Book title plus the reading schedule that you have created to finish the book in-time to complete the project. 2. Login to NCEdCloud You will need your student ID. NCEdCloud is used to access PowerSchool and SchoolNet (on-line tests and quizzes). Record your student ID and password on the Cheat Sheet. We will use this next week! 3. Login to Google Apps You will need to use your student . Record your address, username, and password on the Cheat Sheet. After you have completed this: *Create a Google Doc and title it “(Your Last Name) Art of Immersion Response”. *Type your answer to question #2 from last night’s homework. Login to Turnitin You will find instructions for creating your Turnitin account on the class website. BE SURE TO USE THE CODES FOR THE CORRECT PERIOD! Record your address and password on the cheat sheet. *After you have created your account, login. *Upload your answer to
