(A) Normal AP view in internal rotation. The humeral head appears spherical but there is a normal amount of overlap of the humeral head on the glenoid fossa. (B) Posterior dislocation—Patient 6. Light bulb on a stick—the humeral head is internally rotated and has diminished overlap with the glenoid fossa (arrows). (C) Anterior dislocation.The humeral head is externally rotated and widely separated from the glenoid fossa.
