3 Where did Fairy Tales come from?
Fairy tales are from stories that have been passed down for a long time. They are important because they teach us a lesson (truth about life) All cultures around the world have different fairy tales to reflect what they believe

6 The Four Ingredients of a Fairy Tale
1st Ingredient: A Moral A Lesson the reader learns from the story Ci Moral From Cinderella: Good things happen to good people

7 Moral Beauty and The Beast The Moral is: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

8 Moral A moral is: What did you learn from the story?

9 2nd Ingredient of a Fairy Tale
Characters you remember (memorable) They must be someone the audience can relate to Cinderella is one because she works really hard and is often not appreciated.

The Witch In Snow White is jealous of her beauty. Most people have felt like that before.

This is important because it gives the character’s something to do during the story It could be: A destination to travel to: Over the bridge in the Billy Goats Gruff

17 Obstacle to Overcome Could be to find true love

18 4th Ingredient for a Fairy Tale
A happy ending! This makes the reader think that anything is possible

19 A Happy Ending The problem needs to be solved in a way that makes sense
