3. Fables What is a fable exactly? Definition: A fable a fictitious (not real) story or tale, intended to instruct some useful truth (lesson or moral) or to amuse.

How the seasons change or how the world was created) 2.Characters are few and may be humans, gods, or demigods 3.The plot has plenty of action, and can focus on obstacles and challenges 4.The setting is relevant to a culture, can take place in the past or real time. 5.They are often linked to religion and Believed to be true stories by the people who tell them. 6.Often told in third person narrative (POV)
