Tales about King Arthur & his court were popular: The Knights of the Round Table Sir Launcelot Greatest of Arthur’s Knights It is believed that in the early tales, Sir Launcelot’s role was provided to Sir Gawain. Sir Gawain is a Knight of the Round Table & King Arthur’s Nephew. He is famous for his courage & unfailing chivalry.
