What’s New for Offsite Testing Request and approval no longer required Manuals Combined Shipments Nonsecure and initial secure Test Administration Forms Folder Additional Orders Answer documents A few items which are new for the spring 2017 test administration are: In order for a school to test offsite, a request is no longer required to be submitted and approved prior to testing. The offsite location is required to meet facility requirements outlined in the Administration Manual. The location where testing occurs must be indicated on the test day administration forms. The ACT WorkKeys manual has been sectioned out to provide information needed by the school test coordinator separately from the procedures needed in the testing room. Schools will have the opportunity to indicate the number Administration Manuals they wish to receive. If a specific number is not provided, ACT will ship 1 manual for every 20 examinees. For the spring 2017 test administration non secure test materials and initial secure test materials will be combined into one shipment, arriving approximately 2 weeks prior to the initial test date. The test day administrative forms will now be referred to as Test Administration Forms Folder. These will no longer be provided in the back of the manual to be torn out but will be shipped separately from the manual. Test Administration Forms Folder for standard time administration consist of the room roster, seating chart, timing verification form and test booklet count form. The Forms Folder for accommodated testing include the administration report form to indicate timing for each subject test. A forms folder must be returned for each testing room. If an additional order is needed due to an enrollment change at the school after initial materials have been shipped, the school test coordinator will now see an option for answer documents. This will allow schools to order answer documents should there be a need. An overage will continue to be provided in the initial shipment. If test booklet are ordered, this will not generate a shipment of answer documents as well. Answer document quantities will need to be indicated separately.
