2. Job Descriptions
A Job Description is a detailed description of what the person will be expected to do.
It is a good idea to ask a variety of people before drawing up the job description as people have different views on what a job entails

3. What is included in a Job Description?
The Job Title
Where it is located (including the name of the department)
General information about the job
The activities that make up the job
Working conditions

4. Person Specification
Not all people who work for an organisation are the same. Some jobs require a certain ‘type’ of person.
Different people have different characteristics e.g:
Physical – height, weight
Experience – from previous employment
Qualifications – GCSE’s, A2 or a degree
Personality – good communicator, extrovert, good listener
