2. Go to www.engrade.com and log in
Check your generation hope for your username and password, or obtain it from your teacher.
Go to and log in
Verify your class name and teacher name
Go to account at top menu
Verify your information

3. KEEP USERNAME AND PASSWORD
1. On your account page: do not change your username or password!!!
2. Enter it into your phone or PDA on a memo and lock it.
3. If you forget either one, they are available on your or from your teacher.

4. Sending messages Now go to the messages tab at the top menu
Click on Contacts on the left side of the screen
Click on your instructor’s name in the contacts list – a green check should appear next to their name
Click SEND MESSAGE
Type PASSWORD in the subject line
Write your username and password in the message box
Click SEND at the bottom of the page

5. Entering the classroom
Click on CLASSES at the top menu
Your page will open to assignments
Look at the left menu titled CLASS APPS
On the left menu, you can see assignments, grades, your calendar of topic assignments, your attendance record, and you can click on MESSAGE to send a note to your teacher

6. Sending Messages to your teacher
Always put the assignment reference in the topic line
Send questions about the assignment you need help with

7. Turn Ins
1. When you have turned in an assignment, you can verify it here, as well as view the score

8. Click the MORE button in Class APPS
You will see: Turn ins, discussions, quizzes, comments and reading list
All of your technology assignments will be submitted through this system

9. Discussions
Some assignments will require discussions with the class. (a blog)
You can view and post here on specific discussions (remember your Netiquette!)

10. Quizzes
Quizzes will be available here and shown in your assignments page and on your calendar
You will click on the quiz and submit it here

11. Some Final notes
When participating in group work, turning in all work is everyone’s responsibility, not just the group leader
When you need help in class, ask the instructor or group member – messages for help are for when you are at home or absent from school for the day.

12. Calendar Assignments
Go to your calendar and open the netiquette link.
Take the netiquette quiz and then check the scoreboard.
Create an assignments folder on your computer desktop.
Go to your assignments page and complete the netiquette reflection
