What is LFMT Limited Fixed Mobile Telephony
It is like a (virtual) NGN landline through cell-phone. It is a SIP VoIP service provided through Internet and is restricted to Wifi coverage of customer broadband CPE. 7/18/2018

What is LFMT Fixed Mobile Telephony is an “APP” based calling service provided by BSNL which allows customers to initiate / receive VoIP calls within and outside the network based on static IP either from his laptop / mobile. Calls can be made to any landline, mobile, VOIP from BSNL LFMT number. 7/18/2018

Why Limited FMT This service is called Limited FMT as it allows the number to be registered only from the static IP of BSNL broadband provided (and subscribed to) by Customer at the time of provisioning the service . BSNL BB with static IP 7/18/2018

LFMT Features It allows calls on new Level 2999.
It allows calls either from mobile handset or laptop. It gives you mobility within the range of Wifi network . Any number of connections can be registered on single static IP. LFMT customer can make/receive calls from another LFMT and also non-LFMT numbers like PSTN, NGN, Mobile. ISD, NLD numbers from/to BSNL/Non-BSNL numbers. 7/18/2018

How to Get Connection ? 1/2 Customer can request for a new LFMT connection by filling standard BB/LFMT CAF at CSC. Customer inputs on Mobile number, ID, static IP are mandatory. CSC enters the details in CDR CRM. Selects the number and facilities required in CRM. Demand Note is generated to the customer similar to LL/BB order request. After demand note payment, the order is submitted.

How to Get Connection ? 2/2 A 16-digit PIN number is generated uniquely after creation of order. Order gets completed through Clarity in the normal Flow (There is no Outdoor/MDF/LMG task involved in this flow), This 16-digit PIN number generated in CRM is automatically communicated via /SMS to customer, along with LFMT customer portal URL, Number will be in barred condition after creation. Customer should then activate the number and set the password through LFMT customer portal .

What is Needed to Activate ?
You should have: A laptop/smartphone or any device which can connect to internet over broadband / Wifi / data network of BSNL. SIP client applications like Zoiper, CSipSImple, Linphone, etc.

How to Activate ? Customer can login to the portal either with Google/Facebook/Twitter account ,or can create new account in LFMT portal After login on LFMT portal, user should do the activation of LFMT number as follows: For activation customer should enter the PIN received via mail in activation menu in the portal. Then the LFMT number is created in NGN and an OTP is sent by SMS. After verifying the OTP, customer is asked to set the password for LFMT number. Once the password is set, the Incoming and Outgoing Call barring is removed, and status of the number along with other registration details and static IP are displayed. The static IP with which the LFMT number is bound in LFMT server is also displayed.

Do SIP Account settings as follows: Right click on SIP Client display Screen > SIP Account Settings: Click on “Add” “Account” > Give user details. Display Name: xxxxxxxxxx (User choice) Username: xxx (Registered Tel#) Password: XXXXXX (Set in NGN Portal) Domain name:kl.lmt.ims.bsnl.in (Provided by operator)

Utilisation After successful registration of your LFMT number with IMS Core Exch at Hyderabad, your LFMT number can be used to make or receive calls similar to landline. Advantages: Useful in areas of poor mobile signal coverage. Many smartphone facilities like phonebook, etc., can be used. Like a sophisticated cordless phone.

. LFMT Tariff A 3-minute incoming call will cost:
NIL, if user is on an unlimited BB plan. hardly 20 paise at most, if user is on a limited BB plan. A 3-minute outgoing call will cost: NIL, if user is on an unlimited voice & BB plan. a rupee at most, otherwise. .

Before creating LFMT please ensure that the customer’s active id and mobile no are available in CRM since after creation the PIN and OTP will be sent to these registered id and mobile no respectively.

Static IP provision will be done by NIB and the allotted static IP should be noted from the details of the static IP order once completed. Note that after private IP allocation the broadband user name should be appended with Only after the completion of static IP provision order CSC may issue LFMT order which is detailed below.

Give static IP type as IPV4 and enter the static IP obtained earlier.
