3. Grading Guidelines
Homework: all averaged together = 1 daily grade or less than 10% of their overall grade.
Homework can help or hurt
***TURNER DOES NOT TAKE HW FOR A GRADE-
HW is due the following day unless specified-
Corrections: If a student earns less than 70% on a major assignment, he/she will be given the opportunity to raise the grade with a cap of 70.

Check total number of grades at the time of the trigger

5. Class Dojo Points will be earned and lost all week
Class Goal equals extra recess on Friday
Points will be earned and lost all week
On Friday the kids will be paid
Each point equals $10 Farnk Bucks
Students who have negative points will owe money to the banker  *Free Parking lotto if you will
Conduct can be seen in real time

6. Classroom Economy
Promotes 3rd grade financial literacy standards (TEKS)
Earn a salary for hard work and good behavior at school,
Pay rent, & taxes in April 
Cash Bonus for outstanding behavior and academic achievements
Auction/Store will be held at the end of each nine weeks

8. Planner Planners are kept in the binder
Needs to be checked daily by a parent for any new assignments or information
Citations are stapled daily in planner
Please do not remove, only sign and return
All log in information will be recorded in planner

9. Technology ipad is not the same:
Some programs work on ipads but NOT ALL!
Must have access to ALL accounts at home!

10. Tardiness
Please understand that our day begins at 7:50….even though the TARDY bell doesn’t ring until 8:10.
If you’re on time….you’re late. 
Students should be unpacked and working when the tardy bell rings-

11. STAAR Math STAAR – Monday, May 8th Reading STAAR – Tuesday, May 9th
Go to the Texas Education Agency website to view STAAR released test questions.

12. Wish List
Please look for our wish list outside the mod to contribute items to the 3rd grade auction and to our various science labs.
We should be sending it home in the next few weeks.
