Background Co-operative Agreement Between States of China, DPRK, Mongolia, ROK, (Japan has been invited to join the COSCAP-NA) COSCAP-NA Headquarters at CAAC, Beijing (Rm 604, 615) COSCAP-NA Steering Committee meets every 6-8 months to assign the tasking and priorities and ICAO is the executing agency

Forum for promoting dialogue, coordination and cooperation concerning flight safety matters between CAAs Harmonization and Advancement of Safety Oversight policies, procedures and regulations Efficient and cost-effective method for the conduct of inspection and certification

Assist with training of aviation and airline personnel Promote accident prevention through the establishment of North Asia Regional Aviation Safety Team (NARAST) as proposed by the ICAO Global Aviation Safety Plan (GASP) Assistance with USOAP preparation and action plan implementation
