What We
are Learning
We are in the midst of Color Weeks here in Kindergarten. We’re also continuing to learn our school behaviors.
We are working to be active listeners and making connections from our lives to what we are reading. We are learning the jobs of authors and illustrators and what a character is.
In math, we are working on number identification, letter formation and making groups of objects for numbers up to 5.
Check the back of this newsletter for the poems to help your child!
Computer center starts next week.
Library visits will begin the week of 9/14. Be looking for the book your child checks out that week.
Reminders
Check your child’s binder every day. School forms will be coming home often and some need to be returned.
If you notice work not finished, it’s usually because there wasn’t time to finish and that’s ok. I will write a note on the top if your child needs to finish something at home because they weren’t working their hardest at school.
