1 Telepresence – Control
Double Robotics Control Requirements Chrome browser or safari. Ipad app available Camera on PC. A headset seems to work best reducing feedback between both sides.

4 Basic Control Keys on the keyboard
Arrow Keys for direction M – Mute (Driver – Nearside) N – Mute (Double – Far Side) C – Take Photo ESC – End Call P – Park Spacebar – look down Shift – Power Drive R – Rise stick P – Park robot F – Lower stick Basic controls using the keyboard List what you can do. If the robot is on charge only Rising and lowering of stick work.

5 Configure a joy stick To set up a joy stick you download an interface package for a PC and map the keyboard.

6 Press button to see what lights up on this interface:
Thrustmaster 1 – trigger 2 - Stick Hazard button 3 – Stick RH front button 4 – RH Stick button Stick – X and Y Axis Point of view hat Direction Thumb stick on top of stick – directional arrows Positional slider z-Axis Basic workings of the interface allows you to work out which action on the controller can be mapped. The POV the little thumb control on the joy stick was used for movement not the whole joy stick as originally intended.

Selecting a button action on the joy stick and then the Theme and Action to map to. Themes separate the interaction, Mouse action are normally mapped but here it was keyboard letters and keys.
