Math option) SCIENCE: Biology II, Chemistry, Physical Science, Human A&P, AP Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Zoology, Microbiology, Genetics, Forensics, DC Biology I and DC Biology II HISTORY: US History, AP US History 4 Elective Blocks: Refer to the back of your course selection sheet for a list of elective classes. 6 ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) COURSES
The following are AP courses offered to juniors: AP English III AP Art AP US History AP Chemistry **Please note that there is an end of the year AP exam that the student must take to receive the full 1.10 weight of the class. The cost for the exam is $93. If a student receives free or reduced lunch, there is a significant discount on the cost of the exam. Payment for the exam will be due during the first two weeks of the school year. AP COURSES

Dual credit courses The cost for taking dual credit courses is $100 per semester plus the cost of books. Hinds will bill you for this at the beginning of the semester that you take the course. COMMUNITY COLLEGE- You automatically meet admission requirements for a community college by earning your high school diploma from BHS and taking the ACT! 4-year public university in Mississippi- In addition to BHS graduation requirements, you need 2 advanced electives Advanced Elective Options: (2 Carnegie units needed) *Option 1: Foreign Language I and Foreign Language II *Option 2: Foreign Language I and Advanced World Geography *Option 3: Any combination of English, Mathematics higher than Algebra I, Science higher than Biology I, Advanced Elective category, or any AP course Please visit the link below for more info on admission to a Mississippi 4-year university.
