Meet Our Pets
Curently we have three classroom pets: Alice (Rabbit), Goldie (Goldfish), and Mr. Prickles (Hedgehog)
Taking the Pets Home
Students are allowed to take the check Alice and Mr. Prickles out for the weekend, school holidays, and summer vacation. If your child would like to check out one of our pets, they must have at least fifty points in their Science Lab Class Dojo account. I ask that you send me an or message in Dojo no later than Wednesday of the week you would like to take the pet home. Parents must come to the Science Lab to pick the pets up no later than 2:15 p.m. on Friday, and return them prior 8:00 a.m. on Monday. Students are rewarded with Jaguar Paws for caring for the pets.
Pet Needs
We use the following items in caring for the pets each day. We greatly appreciate any donation you are able to make in helping to care for the pets. Students are rewarded with Jaguar Paws and Dojo points when bringing in items for the pets.
