3 Serving Serve from back line, must keep one foot behind line
Paddle must be below waist No bounce before serving Serve starts from right side of court Serve is made diagonally across court, and must clear the non-volley zone Switch sides after scoring a point

4 Rules Non-Volley Zone:
Hand below the wrist is considered part of paddle. Ball can only bounce once before hitting Only one partner can play the ball Non-Volley Zone: Players cannot volley (hit ball without bouncing) in front of non-volley zone Double Bounce Rule: Each team MUST play their first shot off the bounce

5 Faults Hitting the ball out of bounds Not clearing the net
Stepping into the non-volley zone and volleying the ball Volleying the ball before it has bounced once on each side of the net A ball landing on a line is “IN”

6 Types of Hits Drop shot - when your opponent is positioned too far back in the court, hit a soft drop shot that lands near the front of his court Lob Shot - The lob shot is a high, deep shot that forces your opponent all the way to the back of the court. Overhead Slam - Hit the ball with a hard overhand motion to slam the ball down over the net. Dinking Skills - Dinking is the art of hitting the ball softly and gently so it just barely taps over the net into your opponent's court Volley - Hitting the ball before it bounces

7 Scoring A team can only score when serving
Continue serving until a fault is made by your team Game is played to 11 points and must win by 2
