3 SYNOPSIS and Background
Brief summary of the good practise and motivation as to why it is a good practise. The I Care About Her is a Campaign calling on all men and boys to end Violence Against Women. Violence against women makes the long term goal of gender equality and poverty reduction unattainable and stops women and men from reaching their full potential. 50/50 BY 2015: DEMANDING A STRONG POST 2015 AGENDA

4 Cont……. Small survey done among men asked to rank the women they care for in their live. 1. Mother 2. Daughter and 3 Wife I Care About Her therefore gives every man the sense of responsibility towards the woman they care about most

5 Background Men have generally been given responsibility by society to care and protect their households and Society. We need to support them to come back into that position. Men sit in positions of influence eg Law enforcers, policy makers where they can drive the change that we are looking for. Transformation in the way men think about violence against women would have a greater impact on women’s access to justice.

14 Continue Men being most perpetrators they need to have a man to man talk and change the wrong thinking about women. Men can serve as role models to influence behavior among fellow men. Manhood is under attack, men have a duty to protect and defend manhood/ fatherhood. They need to take the challenge to transform the thinking around ‘who a man is’.
