8 RESULTS  Enhanced Capacity and Community interaction / engagement “I had no prior experience and knowledge of what entailed to be a Councillor…However, through the skills and knowledge I acquired from ZNWL trainings, I am more assertive and can relate well with my people”-Councilor Christine Chewe (Female councillor in Mpika) Participants during the National Conference for Female Councillors in Lusaka

9 RESULTS  Enhanced Service delivery “Identification of community needs was a problem for me as a civic leader in my ward, but through the trainings conducted by ZNWL, I have the know how on conducting needs assessment within my ward using a variety of strategies”.
