4 Meals in Britain Traditionally English people have three meals a day:
breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast is served in the morning. Some time ago people had cereal, eggs and bacon, sausages, tomatoes for breakfast. Today the British also have cornflakes, toasts with marmalade, juice and yogurt with a cup of tea or coffee.

5 Lunch is a light meal. Most people have no time to go back home for lunch so they eat at school, cafes, pubs or restaurants. For lunch they have soup, meat, potato. British people drink tea at any time of the day, but traditional time is 5 o’clock. They like tea with milk.

6 The main meal is dinner, which is usually between 6 and 7 in the evening.
A typical evening meal is a meat dish with vegetables and dessert.

11 How to Make Fish and Chips
Step 1 Things You'll Need potatoes oil Cast-iron pot or Dutch oven baking sheets cod fillets flour
