Entry task: Can we be Amazing again! Pull out your bookmark, so your minutes from last night can get checked. Read for 10 minutes and take a sign post sticky note. Place the note in your book!

2. OBJECTIVE
I can solve unknown words and phrases within the context of the text by using strategies. When I notice the same words, phrases, and ideas occurring over and over again, I can INFER what words mean based off of what I know is happening in the story.
By the time class is over, I will have made an INFERENCE on a piece of paper in my independent reading time.

4. While We are working Please read your book quietly to find your word.
On a piece of paper with your name on it, write your inference. Pick a word and determine what it means because of what you know is happening in the story. Basically, you are making a mini chart like mine on a piece of paper.
