Eduphoria How to Create Assessments

2 Test Types Quick Test Key - Used when you are giving a test created outside of Eduphoria New Blank Test- A test created from scratch using Eduphoria Item Bank questions Existing Test- Can be a test you created last year or by someone else that you want to give to your current students. State Released Test- Copies a STAAR test over to be given and scored through Eduphoria!

3 Creating a Blank Assessment
Creating a blank assessment allows you to build a test from scratch using items from the Eduphoria item bank

4 Step One Log into Eduphoria
Choose the Aware Option from the home screen.

5 Step Two Choose the Assessment Tab on the left side of the screen. Step Three Click Create a New Test at the bottom left of the screen.

6 Step Four Step Five Choose the Create a New Blank Test option.
Select your campus Hit Next

7 Step Six Complete the Test Details
*Name tests carefully and include the school year *Extend the end date to allow for make up tests *Choose local test (unless this is your benchmark)

8 Step Seven Select your course Click

9 This is what you see…..

10 Step Eight Verify that all information is correct and edit passing/advanced performance scores

11 Optional Step If spiraling questions from another content or grade level add courses to the test under the curriculum tab. .

12 Step Nine Click on the Questions Tab then Search Item Bank
Unselecting this allows for ABCD ABCD answer doc instead of ABCD FGHJ

13 Step Ten Add Questions to the test (there are several slides for this step)

14 1. Click on the double blue arrows to open the SE window.
2. Choose the type of question you are searching for.

15 3. Select an SE by clicking and highlighting
4. Click Search Item Bank

16 Items will appear in a list.
5. to view an item click the blue down arrow 6. To add the item to the test click the green plus. Click once and wait. The plus will turn into a check once the item has been added

17 7. Once you are done selecting items click close.
Save Often!

18 Step Eleven Editing and removing questions
Hover over the question and click on the pencil (clicking the arrows allows you to move the question up or down) In the edit window you can… Remove the question Change the answer Change the weight of the question Edit decimal places for griddables Add a secondary standard Plus More The Eduphoria Help window explains These options in detail Click Finished to close

19 Step Twelve Assign the test to students

20 Step Thirteen Activate the test and print answer docs
Under the Administration Tab click Print Answer Sheets

21 Step Fourteen Print test booklets Save Before Exiting!

22 Creating A Quick Test Key
A quick test key is created when you are using and assessment that was created outside of Eduphoria Steps 1-7 are the same for most tests/keys created except for the type you choose!

23 Step 8 Step 9 Enter the number of questions on the test
and choose the number of choices (usually 4). Step 9 Bubble in the correct answers.

24 Step 10 (same as 8) Verify that all information is correct and edit passing/advanced performance scores

25 Step 11 Move to the Questions Tab

26 Step 12 Add TEKS/SE’S to the key
1. Hover over question and click on the pencil.

27 2. Once the edit window opens click on the Standards Tab.
3. Highlight the correct TEK by clicking. 4. Click Select Standard 5. Click Finished

28 For dual coded questions you choose Select New Secondary Standard and repeat.
Click Finished once all standards have been chosen.

29 The standard appears next to the question.

30 Final Steps Assigning the test to students Activate the test
Print the Answer Sheets
