S1 Football Team Training on Tuesday!!!
We have a match on Friday 20th January after school versus St Margaret’s Academy at Away The team sheet is up outside the PE base next to the games hall. If you CAN play, please tick your name off on the sheet. If you are UNABLE to play please let Mr McDonald or Mr Baird know asap please. Players will be required to pay £3 to cover costs of the referee. Team: Saul Nelson, Ryan Allan, Jay MacGregor, Shay Cadden, Reece Hendry, Ryan MacGregor, Liam Gracie, Jack Sayers, Oscar Halliday, Charlie Miller, Nathan Ingram, Declan Harris, Sean Rafferty, Harry MacFarlane, Ethan Grant, Aiden Bennett.

S1 GIRLS ONLY HPV Immunisations for girls only will be taking place in Base 6 (Ms McGregor’s classroom) on Tuesday 17th January. Base 6 is across from the guidance base. Please ask your registration teacher for the allocated appointment time for your class and ensure that you take note of this in your planner. If you have not returned your form, you will not receive the immunisation. If you bring your form on Tuesday, do not give this to your registration teacher – bring it with you to base 6 during your allocated appointment time.

S2 GIRLS ONLY HPV Immunisations for girls only will be taking place in Base 6 (Ms McGregor’s classroom)on Tuesday 17th January. Base 6 is across from the guidance base. To receive this immunisation, you must have had the first one in S1 OR have handed a form in recently giving permission for you to receive it. If you bring your form on Wednesday, do not give this to your registration teacher – bring it with you to base 6during your allocated appointment time.

S2 INTERHOUSE FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT
Monday 6th March am S2 Interhouse Fooball Tournament Must come to school in P.E kit. No football strips Team lists will be put in your social area and will be outside the canteen. If you can’t participate please speak to your teacher. Please remember to bring your school uniform to change into after the football.

Medic insight Opportunity for S4
The Medic Insight day will run on Saturday 11th February and involves various workshops run by current medical students on topics including CPR, communication skills and more. There will also be talks from guest speakers on a range of topics such as what it is like to be a junior doctor, consultant and GP, as well as advice on how to apply to university. Applications open Monday 9th January – until places are full. Spaces are limited and allocated on a “first-come-first-served” and spaces tend to fill up quickly, so we recommend those interested send in their applications promptly. If interested or if you have any questions or speak to Ms McGregor.

S5 Students Interested In Attending Cambridge or Oxford
There is an information seminar Friday 17 Edinburgh Corn Exchange. These free full-day conferences are available to students from all UK schools and colleges currently in their fifth year, studying for Scottish Highers or comparable qualifications. The conferences include: Course information sessions with taster lectures Up-to-date info on applying Student finance and graduate prospects Admissions for Teachers and HE Advisors If interested contact the Student Conferences Team on , or to book a place. Places allocated on a first come, first served basis. Or speak to Ms McGregor for more information.
