Regular positive tú commands mimic the él / ella/ usted form of the present tense verb.
There are irregulars as well.
Use these commands when you are directing someone who you know well.

Ask for (pedir)
This is a stem changer in the present tense, so it will still retain its stem change in the positive tú command for this infinitive.

When you want to say that something has just happened, use the verb phrase acabar de + infinitive.
Acabamos de comprar el pastel para la fiesta.
We just bought the cake for the party.
Acaban de cortar el césped.
They just cut the grass.
