Atoms and Elements
Open Brainpop and view “Atoms and Matter” video.
The video will be stopped at times determined by the instructor and students will answer questions pertaining to the video. The students will be chosen by drawing popsicle sticks with their names on them.
After viewing, the students will answer questions to the quiz, using the “Plicker” app for to check understanding.
This task uses:

Students will complete the “Atoms and Elements” flip chart -found in Unit One- Grade Five –Science – Elementary Curriculum Blackboard- Calcasieu Parish
Using the Promethean pen, students will then drag and drop the term onto the correct space on the chart:
