The four primary objectives of an herbal hour: Educate attendees Sales Sponsor Find new hosts If you do this right, it will begin to take off. If every one meeting developed two new hosts; your schedule will be full in no time!

Arrive Early Arrive 30 minutes early. Meet your hostess and go over details. Get all materials out and organized. Personally greet everyone as they arrive. Remove Distractions Pets and children (even though we love them). Other obvious distractions.

Simplify The home does not need to be decorated. The home should be clean but not overboard. Props should only be NSP products, literature and anything relevant to the presentation. Take roll and provide name tags Roll should include contact information and the person that invited them. Fill out name tags – better impression when calling on them by name.

Introducing the presenter The host should introduce themselves. Why they chose to join NSP and what the products and business has done for them. Keep it brief. The host should introduce the presenter. Include 2-3 highlights or achievements. Help establish them as someone the guest can trust.

Let everyone introduce themselves a. Give each person 30 seconds, this will greatly enhance the meeting. b. This adds tremendous credibility to the host’s business. c. Help guests know they can do what you are doing.

Briefly cover the compensation Plan Explain the financial opportunity attached to NSP products. Explain the opportunity to have a second source of income. Address “fear” points: “I don’t have time,” or “I don’t have enough money.” Options: “You can use high-quality products and get healthy or make it a part-time business making around $1,000 to $2,000 a month.”

Do a group close throughout the presentation You want the attendees to say “yes” or nod in agreement throughout the presentation. Examples: “Can you see why it’s important to pay more attention to your liver and the role it plays in optimal health?” or “It’s easy to understand how Silver Shield is such an effective and powerful tool in immune health, isn’t it?” Later: “Tens of thousands have recognized why NSP represents such a great way to improve one’s health and lifestyle – can you recognize it as well? Now is the time to take charge of your health.” Ask for new hosts!

Allow for questions/mingling a. The Herbal Hour should only take 60 minutes so leave time for questions. b. Encourage questions about filling out the application forms. c. Review products, look at brochures and generally mingle. d. Speak personally to every guest and thank them for coming. Review with your host a. Review contact information of attendees. b. Make sure that host enrolls as an NSP distributor. c. Going forward: second, third and fourth herbal hours.
