SELECTING A VIDEO STYLE
Choose the video style you wish to create

CHANGING THE VIDEO STYLE
Click on the caret to change the video style

TIMELINE Layers GoAnimate is a timeline based animation tool.
Each frame corresponds to a slide. Layers The animation The audio/narration Background music Footage Audio Music

TIMELINE Clicking on a frame triggers a menu to appear Copy a frame
Insert the same frame before/after the one you have selected Remove the frame Remove the content of the frame

CHARACTERS For Custom Character
Use a pre-made character or create a custom one. For Custom Character Select “custom character” Click on + Select a character to make a copy Customize it Save Note: save your project before going to the character creator

CHARACTER ACTIONS Add a character to a frame
Select the character by clicking on it The actions panel opens Select a category Choose a pose You can also search for an action, e.g. dance Note: break your scenes to create a movement

AUDIO Click on a character to add a dialog: Mic recording
Upload a file Your library Text-to-speech (TTS) Take advantage of the text-to-speech feature in the video development stages. Replace the TTS with your audio by uploading your audio file

AUDIO Clicking on the background triggers the narration panel.

BACKGROUND MUSIC The musical note opens the music panel. Select: Music
Sound effects Drag the music to the time line. Enable the sound menu by clicking on the sound wave. Set the volume Split the song to fit a section Duplicate the file

IMPORTING EXTERNAL ASSETS
Import graphics, audio, video files to insert to your video Click on the caret to get to your library. All your imported items will be kept in your library. They are reusable!

PREVIEW Click on the PREVIEW button to test your video.

PUBLISH Click on the SAVE button to save and publish your video.
SAVE AND CLOSE Select a format to export Embed video to your website
