2. What is a transcript?
Your high school transcript is a permanent record of every semester grade you will earn in high school
You must submit your transcripts with your college applications
Any high school credit classes that you take will go on your transcript

7. Endorsements You must choose one Endorsement
If you are weak in Science / Math - do not take STEM
If you are planning to take Band, Orchestra, Choir, or Art for 4 years sign up for Arts/ Humanities

8. Course Selection Sheet
Fill out the top COMPLETELY
Select one of the Endorsements
Circle enough classes to fill 7 class periods. IF you have a ½ credit (1 semester) class, then you MUST have another one to = a full year.
Choose 3 alternate electives in case a class is full
NO changes to electives
IF taking W.GEO this summers, pick a class to replace it. NOTE what that class is so they know which class you need.
No Algebra 1 CBE or Summer School this year
Study hall = 0 credit

9. Important Dates
Course selections sheets are due to your Social Studies teacher on Thursday, February 4th, 2016
Counselors will come to your Social Studies classrooms for course input on the following dates:
Mrs. Butts- Feb. 16
Mr. Beckham- Feb. 17
Mr. Hesterman- Feb. 18
You must have your course selection sheet with you!!
Must have your 4 year plan with you!!
You will receive a verification sheet later in April.
Remember: NO changes to electives
