Narrative Highlight Report: October 2016 Team update The CCG received additional support from CSU Comms Manager, Ros Brooks. The CCG continued to be supported by the wider Arden & GEM Communications and Social Marketing hub team during October and by Charlie Bradley, Head of ECM for Birm, Solihull and Black Country. Campaigns and awards The CCG Stay Well this Winter campaign commenced with an initial focus on flu. A new Stay Well website page has been developed and there have been news releases/social media supporting the NHSE campaign and the Council’s messages. A joined up Solihull Flu/Winter Plan joined up with Birmingham and Solihull A joined up Birmingham and Solihull ‘children with minor conditions’ booklet was updated with Solihull locality/branding Communications support was given to the Falls Prevention event and a SAGA leaflet was updated with the Solihull CCG logo Issues management A response was prepared for the potential media queries around Bruce Burns closure and support offered with BBC interview and several engagement events Most of the press coverage for the CCG was dominated by Cancer care, with positive headlines regarding IAF cancer rating however the radio BBU coverage balanced this but did explain the better settings of care The Urgent Care/Walk-In Centre changes Comms were supported and distributed. Helpline support given. STP support Strategic communications advice was given on the BSol STP including contribution to a statement and workshop support Innovations Treatment Policy leaflet was prepared for consideration by PPG and for new Harmonised Treatment Policy pages Vox Pops were videoed in Solihull surrounding the Stay Well This Winter Tour with Solihull residents talking about Winter health Design and web activity 8 web development hours have been used this year. The CCG has 7 hours left of its development time allowance for 2016/17 Design work for Varicose Vein Treatment Leaflet, shared with PPG to incorporate all feedback.
