Chapter 26: Education and Culture Public Private Partnership General Law on Education and Upbringing; The government has adopted a Model of public-private partnerships to improve accommodation capacity; Ministry of Education and Sports, according to a public-private partnership, announced Invitation to all interested legal and physical persons, who are registered to provide accommodation and food services to express interest in participating in a public-private partnership; Document is reflected in the signed Contract on Public-private Partnership to build a student dormitory in Podgorica, with 400 accommodation places fully adapted to students’ with special needs; Construction is planned to be finished till September 2013. Law on Professional Training for Persons with Acquired Higher Education Law adopted in July 2012 Professional training is dedicated to the persons holding higher education degree without working experience in concrete educational level and recorded at the Employment Bureau evidence; Professional training is in duration of 9 months recognized as 12 months of working experience enabling individuals to pass professional exam Relevant partners: employers (public, private), higher education institutions, graduates. Higher Education and Research for Innovation and Competitiveness Project Aim of the Project financed by WB loan is to strengthen the quality and relevance of higher education and research in Montenegro by reforming the higher education finance and quality assurance systems and by strengthening research and development capabilities. Total amount is 12 m€ Project Beneficiares: higher education institutions; students; graduates; academic staff; economy.
