Ours is first City Deal in Scotland A step change for the Regional Economy £1.13 billion Infrastructure Fund, supported by funding for labour market programmes Objective is to grow the Regional economy – £2.2 bn. additional GVA p.a. to the City Region – 15,000 construction jobs – 29,000 permanent jobs and improved access to employment opportunities

Direct link between Glasgow Airport and Glasgow Central Station (via Paisley Gilmour Street) GLASGOW AIRPORT ACCESS - PROJECT AIMS To provide a direct link between Glasgow Airport and Glasgow Central Station (via Paisley Gilmour Street), which will improve connectivity, encourage modal shift for Airport employees and passengers, and reduce reliance on road based trips to the Airport.
