3 3 3 KAA: Background -Established in 1991 by an Act of Parliament, the KAA Act -Provides and manages aviation infrastructure, facilities and services. -Manages: -4 IA- Nairobi, Moi, Eldoret and Kisumu ; -4 DA- Wilson, Malindi, Lokichoggio and Wajir; and -6 AS- Ukunda, Manda, Kitale, Garissa, Lodwar, Kakamega. -Nairobi Airport- flagship facility -Main gateway in the East & Central Africa region, -Currently serves over 30 scheduled airlines, -Catchment area: EU, the ME, the FE and African Regio n, -Accounts for about 75% of national aviation traffic and -Among the busiest airports in Africa w.r.t. pax (cargo) traffic

18 18 Investment Climate –PPP Act 2013 and associated Regulations- legal and regulatory certainty to investors, –GoK also putting in place the necessary infrastructure to ease cost of doing business in Kenya and –Attractive fiscal regime.
