2 Purpose This lesson discusses why we need to practice good personal hygiene and how to do it most effectively.

3 1. Explain the reasons for daily bathing or showering. 2. Identify the causes of body odor, the difference between deodorant or antiperspirant eliminates body odor. 3. Explain why hand washing is so important and how to effectively wash your hands.

4 4. Describe how to properly care for your fingernails and toenails. 5. Identify the key features of shampoos and conditioners and why it is important to use these products on a regular basis.
