2 Abstract המעבדה למערכות ספרתיות מהירות High speed digital systems laboratory 2 The eyelid movement can be an indicator to many health related issues, ranging from Ptosis to Parkinson and has many medical research interests. As of today, there exists no device software suite that could track, measure & record the eyelid movement in an efficient and user friendly manner. In order to answer this demand, the Eyelid Sensor Device project was brought up, consisting of 3 teams: Algorithms, Software & Hardware.

3 System description המעבדה למערכות ספרתיות מהירות High speed digital systems laboratory 3 Portable, low-power plug & play system Well- defined doctor-patient work flow Based on customer specifications, flowchart design Built-in operating assistant & user’s manual Tool-tips, guided installation, fully documented design Utilized & fine-tuned for maximum performance and user experience

4 Specification המעבדה למערכות ספרתיות מהירות High speed digital systems laboratory Hardware: Eyelid Sensor Device Software: Eyelid Pro was created with National Instruments Labview 2011 (with OpenG add-on) using modular event-based design patterns & inline utilities libraries. Eyelid device embedded software was written in MPLAB-Integrated development environment with ANSI-C language using an interrupt Real-Time operating design (using Microchip application libraries). 4
