Definition What is A cappella? A cappella (Italian for "in the manner of the church" or "in the manner of the chapel")music is specifically group or solo singing without instrumental accompaniment,or a piece intended to be performed in this way , just accompained by human voice in different ways(nonsecial syllable,vocal mimcry). It contrasts with cantata, which is accompanied singing.

Etymology Bossanova is Portuguese. Bossa is a rhythm of "Latin pas DE deux",and Nova means "new".

Style Bossanova means "New Style",it sounds soft,sweet and romantic. But it dosen't have strong rhythmic beats like Rumba or Samba,which is different from traditional music of South America and Latin. Apart from possessing the enthusiasm of South American music,it also has a feel of laziness and easiness.
