4 Paragraph  What Henry Box Browns life was all about. It was all about slavery. He was determined because his mom told him that things could always change. He was very poor because he was a slave and did not get paid. Henry is older than 155 years old right now. One day he fell in love with a girl named Nancy and they got married and they had three children. But still his family was not free.

When did Henry get to William H. Johnson Arch Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania? Henry got there on March 30,1849. Where did Henry get his full name? Henry got his full name from his friends when he Arrived at there house. Why did Henry escape from his owner? He escaped from his owner because he did not want to be a slave anymore.

8 Summary There once was a boy named Henry. Slaves were not allowed to know their Birthday. He was a slave with not a lot of money. His mom always told him that things could always get better. One day Henry’s master gave Henry away to his son because he was very ill. Henry now worked in his new masters factory. He was very good at his new job. If you made a mistake, the boss would beat you. One day Henry met a women named Nancy who was shopping for her mistress. They soon got married even though they had two different masters. Later on they had three children. Months later Henry heard that his wife and children had been sold to somebody else he ran outside to get to late. Henry was VERY, VERY sad because his whole family was sold by Nancy’s master. He knew he would never see his family ever again. He had to escape from his master. He knew some friends that could help him. He had to have some excuse to not have to work for his master so he put some really hurtful oil on his hand. They put him in a big box and shipped him to friends in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. When he arrived he was now FREE!!!!! He got his full name which is Henry “Box” Brown.
