Where to start! Start with the smallest component-- The logo and business card Space is restricted Content Layouts and font choices that look great on letter size paper, can become illegible in the small space of the business card.

What information should you display? Logo name of individual title of individual street address mailing address (if different) phone number(s) fax numbers voice mail or pager numbers email address web address

Fonts: Readability is the most important aspect of font choice. Choose fonts that communicate your identity and message—formal, informal, graphic, etc. Be consistent in the type of font chosen Size appropriately on each component.

Colour: Use corporate colours (if applicable) OR explore a variety of color combinations your like? The color of the paper itself is also a factor in the design. Careful use of just one color can be just effective as an entire rainbow.

Paper Keep in mind the type of printing that will be used. Choose the right grade of paper for each piece of your stationery package.grade of paper Business cards typically use cover stock Letterhead uses bond paper. We will be using basic white printing paper.

Printing/Distribution Consider the question--"How will the letterhead be used?" Photocopied or faxed documents do not reproduce colour. You will want to design with the limitations of those reproduction methods in mind. We have a black and white printer.
