- A memorized speech is simply a speech which you memorize what you wish to speak about and do not use any notes.

3. MANUSCRIPT
-A manuscript speech is an oral statement that is written down and delivered just like it is. Each word that is written down is considered as being of paramount importance and it helps to build a connection with the listeners.

4. IMPROMPTU AND EXTEMPORANEOUS
An impromptu speech is a speech that is delivered on the spur of the moment, with little or no preparation.
EXTEMPORANEOUS
-An extemporaneous speech is a speech that is researched, outlined, and presented after a rehearsal period. In most cases the individuals giving the extemporaneous speech speak informatively regarding current events and politics.

5. TYPES OF SPEECH ACCORDING TO PURPOSE
Declarative Sentence
This sentence type is intended to make a statement or provide information and ends with a period.
EX: -I am going to the store.
-The hockey finals will be broadcast tomorrow. 

6. Imperative Sentence
-A sentence that makes a request or a demand is called an imperative, and can end with a period or exclamation point, depending on the emotion within the sentence.
EX: will you please sit down !

7. Interrogatory Sentence
The purpose of this type is to ask a question, and ends with a question mark.
EX: Who is the best Business English teacher?

8. Exclamatory Sentence
To emphasize your thought, use an exclamation point; doing so will classify the sentence as exclamatory.
EX: Do it now!
Stop that man! Go to the end!

9. SPEECH IN SPECIAL OCCASION
Special occasion speeches tend to be shorter speeches, commonly less than ten minutes .
Special occasion speeches are commonly addressed to a particular audience.
Depending on the context, special occasion speeches can be funny or sad.
