6 With some familiarity with previous numbers (1-9 and 10,20,30,etc) numbers from 21 to 99 can generally be understood by the sound of the first part and second part. Ex- 33 is taitees. Tai refers to 3 and tees refers to 30. 81 is ikaasi. Ik refers to 1 and aasi refers to 80. 95 is panchanbe. Panch refers to 5 and anbe refers to 90. To be able to speak the numbers, a person needs to know syllables for all multiples of 10 and also how unit digit numbers are pronounced with each of the multiples. A shortcut for understanding 2 digit numbers

7 How much does this pencil cost? Yaha pencil kitne rupaye ka hai. OR Yaha pencil kitne ka hai. This pencil costs 4.5 rupees. Yaha pencil saadhe chaar rupaye ka hai. How much does this chocolate cost? Yaha chocolate kitne ka hai? How much rice do you want? Aapko kitna chaawal chahiye? This chocolate is of 1 rupee. Yaha chocolate ek rupaye ka hai. Give me 1 rupee. Yaha to zyaada ho ja raha hai, 300 kijiye/kar dijiye. 4. How can I give an item of 500 at 300, give 430. 500 ki cheez 300 me kaise de doon, 430 dijiye. Conversations
