6.  Bar magnets have two poles, and an electromagnet has only one pole. Electromagnets make electricity, and bar magnets don’t make electricity. An electromagnets has a different strength than a bar magnet. Both bar and electromagnets attract iron. Both bars make a magnetic field. They are both magnets.
