1 Connecting to the eTeacher FTP on Win XP eTeacherGroup 2010

2 General The FTP server is used to store presentations and other contents for classes. In this presentation we will explain how to set up communication with this server, and how to allow comfortable work routine with this server.

3 Entering “My Computer” Set up a new network location: Click on "My Computer“ Then select "My Network Places"

4 Creating a new network location or Now click on "Add Network Place". After the wizard opens click on next, on the next page mark the option ‘Choose another…’ and press Next.

5 Under ‘Internet or network address’ type the server address (ftp://teachersftp.eteachergroup.com) and click next. Uncheck the ‘Log on anonymously’ checkbox and in the username field write pptftp, then click on next. Creating a new network location

6 This field is optional and allows us to change the network location name (you can change it to "eTeacher FTP" instead of the numbers that are written). Click Finish. Creating a new network location

7 At this stage the eTeacher FTP will open. Enter the password: ngrlahgur Make sure to check the Save Password option! Click on Log On. Creating a new network location

8 Copying the network Location to the desktop Click on ‘My Computer’. Go to ‘My Network Places’. Locate the eTeacher FTP and right click on it and choose ‘Copy’.

9 On the desktop, right click on an empty area, and choose "Paste Shortcut”. You now have a direct link to the eTeacher FTP. Good luck! Copying the network Location to the desktop
