Journal Reflection What/Who influences the way you speak? Who are you most comfortable speaking with? What type of people are they? Who are you uncomfortable speaking with? In what types of situations are you uncomfortable speaking? Comfortable? What is your favorite word to say? Why?

Identity Identity relates to: – Self-image (a person’s mental model of him or herself) – Self-esteem – Individuality – Gender identity is an important part of identity Personal identity is a collection of social roles that a person might play, known as either the social identity or cultural identity. Identity is the way we represent ourselves through language, the way we dress, body language etc..
