Facts about GeorgiaFacts about Georgia  Georgia was known for it’s rich soil.  Georgia was also known for it’s farming.  Georgia was known for it’s fur trading.  People came from England so that they did not have to go to jail.

Slogans “Come to Georgia! It’s better than prison” meaning that if you stay in England you'll be in prison and Georgia’s better than being in prison. “If ya wanna stay still, you gotta make a lot of bills” That means that you can make more money in Georgia than you can in England. “Life should taste as good as Georgia” meaning that Georgia is famous for our peaches and peanuts so you will have a lot of good food here!

Reason’s you should come to Georgia.Reason’s you should come to Georgia.  No such thing as prison in Georgia. Witch means that you don’t go into jail for silly things (like you do in England)  Good crops for good people. Which means that there is good soil and it is for good people that plant the seeds for corn and rice and tabacco.  Lots of forest for lumbering. Which means there are lots of jobs for people in the forest.
